Steve Masterton drove for his small family team in 1984 in a Group C XE Ford Falcon.  The car was supported by the family business, Masterton Homes with help from an amount of building suppliers including Berger Paints and throughout the 84 season Steve had some great results in the domestic series.

For Bathurst Steve was partnered by legendary brake specialist Bruce Stewart where the car featured in Hardies Hero’s starting 9th and qualifying in 7th.

The race quickly unfolded with the car out after 16 laps.

The car is back in Steve’s hands with a restoration planned.

Care instructions:

  1. Gentle cycle ‐ Cold machine wash only.
  2. Use standard washing powder only; it is not recommended that fabric softeners be used as they may strip the coloured ink.
  3. Do not bleach or use bleaching agents of any kind.
  4. Wash garment inside out.
  5. Do not tumble dry.
